Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
Inspired Psychology, Inc. ("we," "our") operates inspiredpsychology.com. This policy explains what we collect from people who visit this website and what we do with it.
This policy covers the website only. Health information about clients of the practice is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and by state and federal health privacy law, not by this policy.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you contact us by email, phone or text using the details on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, phone number and email address.
Information collected automatically. Our analytics service records visits in aggregate: pages viewed, approximate country, browser type, device type, referring website and page load speed. We do not use cookies for analytics, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
Scheduling and payment. Booking happens on a separate secure platform operated by our practice management provider. Insurance benefit checks happen through a separate provider. Information you enter on those platforms is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
Categories of third parties we share with
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. Information may be handled by service providers who make the website and practice run: our website host and analytics provider, our practice management and scheduling platform, our insurance claims provider, and our email provider. Where a provider handles protected health information, it does so under a business associate agreement.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.
Reviewing or changing your information
If you would like to know what personal information we hold about you from this website, or ask us to correct or delete it, email Hello@InspiredPsychology.com or call (858) 215-2545. We will respond within a reasonable time. Clients of the practice have separate and broader rights over their health records, described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry standard for responding to these signals, so we do not respond to them. We also do not track visitors across other websites, which is what that signal is usually meant to prevent.
Third-party tracking
We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites through this site. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels here.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will post the revised policy here with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted on this page for at least 30 days.
